Swarms open-sources RouteHub, an LLM gateway that imports 190x faster than litellm
KyeGomezB · x · 2026-10-25
Swarms released RouteHub, an LLM gateway built for raw speed. The pitch: litellm takes over a second to import, loads 2,332 modules, and even calls GitHub before your code runs. RouteHub imports in 5.5ms (190x faster) and adds only 0.004ms per call vs litellm's 0.74ms.
It reaches 20+ providers through the official OpenAI SDK with the same function names, is Apache-2.0 licensed, and installable via pip or uv. The repo is brand new with minimal stars so far.
