Peter Yang: Once is the only learning app his 4-year-old stuck with for months
petergyang · x · 2026-10-25
Peter Yang says of all learning apps he tried with his 4-year-old, Once is the only one they stuck with for months. Why it works: it builds a daily parent-child learning habit, uses lightweight gamification (a silly photo together after each lesson), and after 30 lessons mails physical books so kids read independently. His daughter now sometimes picks Once books over YouTube and her phone. Not sponsored.
