What a 4GB model can do on a robot: Nemotron Bolt runs locally on Reachy Mini
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-25
A demo of NVIDIA's Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B on a robot: Gemma 4 E4B with Nemotron post-training (RLVR and RLHF), quantized to Q4KM and tuned for conversation plus multi-turn tool calls. It runs fully local on a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB inside a Reachy Mini — about 4.2GB of memory at roughly 15 tokens/s, with Cosmos handling vision. The poster also plugs his PyTorch book.
