Running own ClickHouse and letting agents take a stab at IaC ops
kuza55 · x · 2026-10-24
kuza55 shares his team's infra trade-offs: they still pay AWS for Postgres and ValKey since they're cheap and critical, but self-host ClickHouse because it isn't a source of truth — anything costing $100k/year would be self-hosted too. On agent ops: not excited about fully autonomous agents yet, but since everything is IaC, letting agents take a stab and correcting what he doesn't like works well.
