Microsoft launches Agentic DevOps Engineer Expert certification via Exam AZ-401

Microsoft Learn announced the Microsoft Certified: Agentic DevOps Engineer Expert certification, aimed at DevOps engineers, developers, and infrastructure admins who want to integrate AI assistance and AI agents into their everyday work. Certification requires passing Exam AZ-401, currently in beta.
The first 300 candidates who take the exam on or before November 9, 2026 get 80% off. It's a notable signal of agents being formalized into enterprise engineering job requirements.
