Thariq Shihipar leaves Anthropic after over a year building Claude Code

Thariq Shihipar has announced his departure from Anthropic after more than a year working on Claude Code, saying the product scaled beyond anything he imagined. In his farewell note he praised the mission and Anthropic's "race to the top" philosophy. Entrepreneur danielmac8 shared the news with warm wishes.
