Claude Code engineer leaves Anthropic after a year of watching it explode

A member of the Claude Code team has left Anthropic after more than a year, saying the tool scaled beyond anything he imagined. He writes that he loved working there and believes in the mission of a "race to the top" — working hard and responsibly to raise the bar for the whole industry.
