Anthropic's Proactive Agent Claude Duet Bets on Safety Architecture
大模型之路 · wechat · 2026-10-24
Following Meta's Muse and OpenAI's Dots, Anthropic released Claude Duet in research preview: a proactive personal agent that sends daily briefings and runs tasks in a cloud VM for US Pro/Max subscribers.
Safety is the differentiator: the model never touches raw credentials; an auto-mode classifier gates every action; a dedicated classifier inspects outbound messages, blocking highly sensitive data outright and requiring explicit authorization for health/financial info; payments use Stripe Link virtual cards with user confirmation, and high-risk actions like securities transfers are always blocked. The piece frames credential isolation, action gating and information tiering as the three must-haves for proactive agents, contrasting with Dots' state consistency and Muse's active memory. Known limits include misjudged urgency and hours-long check intervals.
