Developer finds Samsung TV sluggishness culprit: on-device vision models processing screenshots and audio

Developer @log4j dug into why his Samsung TV was so sluggish and found the culprit: Samsung runs post-processing of data on the user's own hardware, including audio, screenshots, and the AID cross-device tracking ID, plus other telemetry. Computer vision processing and models run locally on the TV — meaning the privacy-oriented data pipeline is also eating the device's performance.
