Grok Imagine has released Episode 1 of Odyssey, a roughly seven-minute film made with Wonder Studios and director Dev Walker. Since video models generate only short clips, a piece this length hinges on directorial craft: shot planning, continuity, pacing and editing. The team has offered a full production breakdown, which the author calls some of the best free film school around, and suggests a practice exercise for AI filmmakers: rewatch a scene with sound off and note every cut.
