trq212 · x · 2026-10-24
A key contributor to Claude Code, trq212, has announced their departure from Anthropic after more than a year on the team, during which the coding tool scaled beyond what they imagined.
In a farewell thread, they praised Anthropic's mission and its 'race to the top' philosophy, called their colleagues the most talented and earnest people they've worked with, and thanked the X developer community. They plan to take a break before a new venture, pointing followers to @addyosmani, @lydiahallie, @catwu and Claude Code creator @bcherny for continued Claude Code content.
