Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) is working with playwright Bonn Park and producer Sarika Hemi Lakhani on BytePlus's Next Frame, using Seedance 2.5 to reimagine the stage play Volcano High. The experiment combines real live-action performances with AI-transformed characters, environments and VFX, recut as a continuous one-shot narrative. It signals AI video moving beyond text-to-clip generation into actual filmmaking workflows, giving directors more creative freedom.
