Dev who spent $10k in two weeks details why Codex beats Claude Code on mobile
willdepue · x · 2026-10-24
Will Depue, invited to compare Claude Code vs Codex on mobile, lists his gripes: he spent $10k in two weeks and runs 4 accounts; Claude Code hides the setting to start a new thread from your phone and misdirects you to remote control instead; Codex handles project structure and switching between remotes (home PC, B300 node) better with a nicer top switcher; and Claude Code's queueing system can't queue a "now do a second pass" message for after a run finishes. @sholtodouglas thanked him and said he'd boot up Codex to compare.
