Six AI eval companies acquired in one year: why Big Tech is buying the data gateway
FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-10-24
Of 23 AI evaluation and monitoring companies, six were acquired this year: Dynatrace bought Arize for $915M, Cisco bought Galileo, ServiceNow bought Traceloop, ClickHouse bought Langfuse. LMArena, valued at $3.1B, remains independent. The author argues buyers want the gateway to AI work-logging data streams; acquired companies' data belongs to customers, while Arena's data is its own — its neutrality is what makes it unbuyable (author's inference).
