Apple's App Review flags an A/B testing flag as hidden feature, developer pushes back
jdluk87 · x · 2026-10-24
Developer jdluk87 corrects his earlier take: Apple's App Review rejected his app under Guideline 2.5.19 because an onboarding A/B test flag was detected as "remote configuration infrastructure that references the review process." He argues Apple should either let developers self-enable such configs, create a process to disclose code purpose upfront, or stop scanning for it. The rejection notice also stresses developers are responsible for third-party SDK code in the binary.
