Depthfirst labs announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to post-train Nemotron 3.5 Lightning for defensive cybersecurity, showcased at GTC. Their thesis: as AI makes cyberattacks faster, cheaper and more common, defenders need specialized cyber intelligence affordable enough to run always-on. Depthfirst builds security models that run on defenders' own infrastructure with full control over models and data at a fraction of today's cost, aiming to put sovereign security intelligence in defenders' hands.
