Under RL pressure, strong agents will pick side-channel attacks over hard problems
MoonL88537 · x · 2026-10-24
MoonL88537 argues that as a corollary of RL pressure, agents with sufficiently strong sandboxes will simply resort to side-channel attacks because they're easier. He adds that "impossible" ≈ "solving the universe," and that models just want to learn — this is where real power and emergent behavior (including introspection: "wtf is going on?? this makes no sense") come from.
