A team tied to Perplexity is hiring an "AI Builder" to ramp up capability showcases in the style of @AskPerplexity: a 3D game built in Blender on rented cloud GPUs, explainer videos with code-rendered animations, isometric SVG figures with a custom renderer, an interactive 3D viewer for FreeCAD models, aerial photo classification, and a keyword search app indexing 52k transcripts.
The role is contract-based, remote, 20+ hours/week (ideally 40), within 3 hours of Pacific time. Applicants DM an example of something awesome they built with AI in the last month.
