Canada's Robotiq launched the 2FC, a production-ready adaptive gripper with embedded tactile intelligence: force-sensing plus onboard compute (an AI Hub at the wrist) runs grasp skills, slip detection, object pose estimation and grip checks fully locally. Built on the 2F platform with 30,000+ units deployed, rated for 2M cycles; pre-orders open, shipping Q1 2027.
