Claude adds MCP Tasks and Elicitations for long-running agent jobs

Anthropic's ClaudeDevs account announced support for MCP Tasks and Elicitations in Claude. Tasks let Claude hand plugins long-running jobs such as deep research and get reported back on completion, while Elicitations let plugins request user input mid-task, like confirming a refund or filling in a missing detail.
