According to OpenRouter data, Nous Research's Hermes Agent processed 53.3 trillion tokens over the past month, making it the most widely used open-source agent harness in the world. The project began as ten anons in a Discord server and now competes with the best-funded AI labs.
Nous cofounder dillonrolnick recently joined Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince to discuss who gets to build, control, and benefit from an AI-run internet — a conversation framed by AI recently uncovering major vulnerabilities in core internet infrastructure.
