poem turns Codex sessions into chats — approve agent tasks from your iPhone
patrickreza · reddit · 2026-10-23
Developer patrickreza released poem, a notarized Mac app that turns Codex (and Claude Code) sessions into chat threads, solving the 'pile of Terminal tabs' problem.
Key features: each session appears as its own chat; you get pinged when a run finishes or needs approval and tapping lands you in the right thread; walls of tool output collapse into one readable line; existing Terminal sessions can be pulled in without losing state; and from an iPhone you can reply, approve, or start new sessions on your Mac. Under the hood it's the real Codex CLI with your own ChatGPT sign-in — nothing in between. Free download at poem.chat.
