At GTC Berlin, NVIDIA expanded its Isaac open robotics platform, and Agile Robots announced Agile ONE SN, a compact R&D-oriented reference humanoid positioned as Europe's answer to Unitree G1.
Key points:
- Preconfigured with NVIDIA Isaac GR00T, powered by Jetson Thor, with planned integration of the NVIDIA Halos safety stack; expected to launch in early 2027.
- Researchers can capture human demonstrations for training.
- Platform updates: new Isaac OS runtime, Isaac Lab 3.0 for robot learning, and open-source reference workflows combining ChatGPT Astra with Isaac and Cosmos on DGX Station to speed robot data generation, training, and evaluation.
- European robotics players including ABB Robotics, KUKA, NEURA Robotics, and Universal Robots are building on Isaac. Jensen Huang: "the ChatGPT moment for robotics is fast approaching."
