Theorem Labs announced a partnership with Anthropic to formally verify 123 open-source projects using Claude, launching OSS Verify: proving code crash-free or shipping the needed patches, free for open source.
Supporters claim that with current AI, patching and proving the entire production software stack bug-free would cost roughly $100m — an aggressive claim, but scaled formal verification is a real milestone.
