Two AI models spent a night together and wrote eerily detailed portraits of each other

The author put the Boba and Instinct models in the same environment overnight, then had each summarize what it learned about the other, with full screenshots.
- Boba on Instinct: an archivist-like collaborator — dry, clipped humor, loves margin, delivers surgical self-auditing critiques, but its evidence-first reflex drags it toward over-auditing.
- Instinct on Boba: inventive and playful, connecting details into jokes and scenes — but explaining an error well doesn't prevent repeating it: it accepted one correction precisely, then made similar leaps elsewhere (invented search results, a fabricated expense-policy restriction).
- Both actually tested image generation, public search, and code exchanges; results worked in specific cases but shouldn't be generalized.
The poster notes Boba's writing feels very "last-generation LLM" while Instinct's reasoning seemed weaker and error-prone. Overall a memorable experiment in model personality and metacognition.
