claude-convey: An Open-Source Plugin That Turns Reusable Prompts into Forms in Claude Code

Developer ynqa released claude-convey v0.1.0, a Claude Code plugin that fills reusable prompt templates by picking values in a form.
- Templates are defined in YAML; choices can come from fixed lists or command output (e.g. Git branches/commits, cascading kubectl context/namespace/Pod picks)
- Run /convey examples, pick a branch and commit, type your request, preview, and hit Fill to place the completed prompt in the input box for review before sending
- The bundled /convey:template skill can generate templates from a description
- Install: claude plugin marketplace add ynqa/claude-convey then claude plugin install convey@claude-convey; restart, drop templates in .claude/convey/, and run /convey
The author, a first-time Claude Code extension builder, used Claude itself to explore TUI components, build the side-panel form, and test it. Open source at github.com/ynqa/claude-convey.
