Act*ONOMY infers agent personality from 345K real-world trajectories across 80 models
mdredze · x · 2026-10-23
ActONOMY (A-B-D) infers agent behavioral traits bottom-up: instead of asking models about their personality, the team watched them work, analyzing 345K real-world trajectories from 80 models across 50 harnesses. Findings: models show stable personality differences — some more talkative, others more responsible, planful, and energetic. Paper and code are public.
