Google did not move AI Mode citations to the bottom—it's a CSS/zoom display quirk
gaganghotra_ · x · 2026-10-23
Some SEOs claimed Google moved the citation block in AI Mode to the bottom of answers. The author clarifies this is false: the recent change appears to be a CSS-level tweak on the AI Mode page, and depending on the user's browser zoom level, the citation block shows either beside or below the answer. A useful correction for anyone tracking AI search UX.
