1Password lands in Meta's Muse agent: per-login approval, vault-stored credentials
alexandr_wang · x · 2026-10-23
Alexandr Wang announced 1Password is integrating directly into Meta's Muse agent. Users can let Muse sign in and keep working, with each login requiring approval while passwords stay in the 1Password vault, never exposed to the agent. The rollout across all platforms begins over the coming days.
It's a notable template for agent credential security: using a password manager as an approval gate rather than handing credentials to the model.
