PyTorchCon 2026 draws 3,500+ attendees as Google unveils native TorchTPU support

PyTorchCon North America 2026 brought 3,500+ attendees to San Jose. The PyTorch Foundation added nine new members including Nebius, Nscale, and Shopify as Platinum members. Highlights: Google and Meta introduced TorchTPU for native PyTorch execution on Google TPUs, AWS announced TorchNeuron for Trainium, and TorchTitan expanded model support with new RL capabilities via TitanRL. The program featured 100+ sessions.
