Kent C. Dodds says AI agents tanked his course sales and changed education forever
craigsdennis · x · 2026-10-24
Kent C. Dodds reflects that when you can ask an agent anything with full context of your project, people stop buying courses — his course sales tanked this year. He argues we're not "post-education": humans still want to learn for fulfillment. He's launching MEGA.dev, a 4-week program for AI-fluent developers (starting Oct 26, 20 lessons + weekly live workshops) taught with Angie Jones, John Lindquist and Theo Browne, covering models, context, knowledge systems, harnesses and workflows; over 2,000 developers have joined.
