Ideogram launches its first vector model: text-to-image now outputs editable SVGs
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-10-23
Ideogram introduced its first vector model, generating clean, editable SVGs with smooth gradients and sharp typography from text prompts, or converting any image into a detailed, scalable vector. It's live in Ideogram and via the API.
User CodeByPoonam demoed the image-to-editable-SVG feature with a detailed prompt — an intricate Indian peacock mandala with flat colors, crisp outlines and separate editable vector elements — showing practical value for packaging and brand design workflows.
