OpenTac: open 3D tactile sensing ecosystem lets robots share touch data across sensors
_krishna_murthy · x · 2026-10-23
OpenTac is an open ecosystem for implementing touch on various surfaces: 3D tactile sensors designed and fabricated to fit a robot's shape, with support for data acquisition and sharing data across different sensors. Reducing the per-robot burden of building tactile systems could significantly impact Physical AI.
