Reflection AI's Beam agent auto-builds a Gemma-4 fine-tuning notebook, boosting accuracy 66.5%
danielhanchen · x · 2026-10-23
Reflection AI plugged Beam into opencode and asked it to study UnslothAI and create a fine-tuning notebook for the latest smallest Gemma-4 model on an out-of-distribution Text2SQL task. Beam researched model cards, docs and READMEs, implemented the fine-tuning logic itself, and raised Gemma's heldout test accuracy by 66.5%.
