Claude API now available on Google Cloud, billed against GCP commitments
ClaudeDevs · x · 2026-10-23
Anthropic announced that the full Claude API — including Claude Managed Agents, code execution, and Opus 5.5 fast mode — is now accessible via Google Cloud accounts. The Anthropic-managed service uses Google Cloud IAM credentials and draws down GCP commitments, with US and Global endpoints live. Setup requires subscribing via Google Cloud Marketplace and creates a separate Anthropic org per GCP project.
