Designer builds a portfolio with AI that doesn't look AI-made: her 4-step workflow
Tegadesigns · x · 2026-10-23
UI/UX designer Tega explains how she designed and built her entire portfolio with AI — a scrapbook-style site with pixel type that avoids generic AI aesthetics. Her method: pick a real design direction first, feed in real photos and projects, A/B test two hero layouts and keep the winner, and push for animation on every section. "The AI didn't have taste. I did. That's the part you can't skip." Post also plugs her UI/UX + AI design classes.
