Sortypix: Free open-source tool sorts thousands of photos fast, ideal for culling AI generations
Chmyke · reddit · 2026-10-23
Developer Chmyke released Sortypix, a free MIT-licensed desktop app (Windows/Linux) for rapidly culling large photo folders: left-click rejects, right-click keeps, files move into adjacent keep/rejected folders with nothing deleted and Ctrl+Z undo. Optimized for AI-generated image batches, it keeps RAW+JPEG pairs together, auto-isolates duplicates, runs fully offline with no telemetry, and stays fast on folders with thousands of photos. The unsigned Windows installer triggers a SmartScreen warning.
