Turso's MVCC engine cuts p99.9 transaction latency to 2.4ms vs SQLite's 1.2s

SQLite allows one writer at a time. Turso's MVCC engine with BEGIN CONCURRENT removes that limit, and v0.8 delivers the performance: at 32 connections, p99.9 transaction latency is 2.4ms for Turso versus 1.2s for SQLite — roughly 500x better. The team detailed the architecture in a P99 CONF talk.
