Google Cloud officially brings OpenAI models to its customers in major cloud partnership

Google Cloud published an official announcement (Oct 21) titled "Google Cloud expands model choice and flexibility, bringing OpenAI models to customers" — meaning customers can now access OpenAI models directly on Google Cloud.
Commenting on the news, verrsane called it a "massive revenue unlock for OpenAI": tapping Google Cloud's distribution should significantly expand OpenAI's enterprise reach and revenue, adding that plenty of security concerns have gone under the radar anyway.
