Poll: 38% of users always say please and thank you to AI
EverySingleMinute · reddit · 2026-10-22
A Kim Komando reader poll asked whether people are polite to AI. Results: 38.2% always say please and thank you, 12.6% only when the AI gets it right, 27.1% never, and 22.2% picked the joke option "so it remembers I was nice when the robots take over." The numbers show politeness toward AI is already a mainstream habit and hint at how users anthropomorphize these systems.
