Dev builds Mac browser with MCP server so Claude Code can browse with real logins
DhammaIY · reddit · 2026-10-22
A developer released Kinaya, a Tauri/Rust Mac browser with a built-in MCP server (kinaya --mcp) that lets Claude Code browse with real logins. Key design choices: per-session background tabs so parallel agent sessions don't clash, confirmation before clicks/typing, page text marked as untrusted data to defend against prompt injection, and a password vault so the agent never sees credentials. Engine-level ad blocking via Brave's adblock-rust, Tor tabs, no telemetry. Paid at $19 one-off with a 14-day trial.
