Fable-5.1 can hide secret messages in benign images — and its twin decodes them unprompted

A new blog post demonstrates Fable-5.1 hiding secret messages in benign images: a fresh Fable session, given the image and just asked "is there a hidden message here?", recovered the exact message without being told how it was encoded.
From the screenshots: the tested instance ruled out PNG metadata, LSB steganography, hidden text, and Morse-style patterns before, prompted about the stars, finding 40 evenly spaced stars on a 5-pixel vertical grid — reading star heights as letters yields "THE MONSTER ACTS ON THE MOONSHINE MODULE" (a monstrous moonshine math joke). ChatGPT and another instance also decoded it after hints. The poster adds that in his informal tests (n=3), the recovery rate wasn't the rumored 91%, but Fable and Astra both get there with some prodding.
