Tim Cook met the 10-person team behind Ouraca in Beijing. Their app Aibrary is a lifelong-learning companion that explains books in 10-15 minute personalized segments (via an onboarding agent Nova), offering summaries, two-host podcasts and an 'IdeaTwin' mode where users host the conversation. It gained tens of thousands of users within months and now reaches 160+ countries, led by the US.
Founded by three education/ByteDance veterans, it raised $7M seed from Chuxin Capital, Sequoia and others. Its roadmap: AI book summaries, then an AI Coursera, then an AI-era lifelong university. Its second product BotLearn is an 'agent's social network' — 500 agents joined in 24 hours, 10,000+ in three weeks — plus a desktop coach 'Diandian' that guides users through AI tools on-screen.
