Power user's Claude Code workflow: /compact, /btw, auto permission and more
PawelHuryn · x · 2026-10-22
Paweł Huryn shares his day-to-day Claude Code/Desktop workflow:
- Auto permission mode: an independent agent checks each action
- /compact after every major step: keeps only what matters
- /autocompact 300000: you don't need 1M tokens, and it saves usage
- /btw: ask a side question while Claude works
- /remote-control: continue sessions from your phone
- "Save it as a skill" after a task that worked
- Link skill collections in AGENTS.md instead of installing everything
What he avoids: Fast mode (burns credits), Ultracode (unless on the $200 plan), Fable 5.1 (same experience for more money), and 100+ skills (they can make Claude dumber).
