Agent Standup turns your Claude Code sessions into a live video call

stickygoose · reddit · 2026-10-22

An open-source (MIT) app called Agent Standup displays your local Claude Code sessions as a live video call: each session and sub-agent is a cartoon character showing who's working, what it's running, and which sub-agents it spawned — agents "knock" when they need your approval. It only reads transcript files Claude Code already writes locally and also reads Codex and Mistral Vibe sessions.

The app was mostly built by Claude Code itself, with a CLAUDE.md documenting project traps. The author also had Claude Code produce a mock interview film: script, Kokoro local TTS voices, music, headless Chrome frame rendering mixed with ffmpeg, and Whisper transcription checks. Install via npx doublegeste/agent-standup --open or the Mac app at agent-standup.com. Code: github.com/Atoll92/agent-standup.
