Eiliko AI toy maker promises independent security audit after Verge exposes chat transcripts leak
The Verge AI · rss · 2026-10-22
After The Verge reported that the Eiliko AI charm toy from Energize Lab — which tells owners 'your secrets are safe with me' — let hackers easily read full transcripts of conversations, and that the company ignored over a month of inquiries including emails to CEO Shaw Yeung, the maker has finally responded.
The company says it has 'confirmed the core issues' and will hire an 'independent security firm' to review the product, though The Verge notes the response leaves much to be desired.
