Nadella: TK Elevator uses AI agents to speed maintenance of 1M+ elevators
satyanadella · x · 2026-10-22
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared an enterprise AI case from Cologne: TK Elevator, which services over a million elevators and escalators, uses Microsoft tech to give field technicians instant access to decades of shared service knowledge.
Per Microsoft's official blog, the agentic AI app is built on Microsoft Foundry and Azure OpenAI. Technicians who once hunted for elevator locations, handwritten notes and hundreds of pages of manuals can now retrieve information conversationally, cutting search time and streamlining on-site write-ups.
