Frozen 72B model builds physical SSD memory cartridges to analyze a real plane crash report

A developer open-sourced AKBASCORE Silicon Hippocampus (TEST745 experiment): a frozen Qwen2.5-72B-Instruct — no fine-tuning, weights untouched — converts a real aircraft accident preliminary report (Air Tractor AT-802A crash in Croatia) into physically persisted "memory cartridges."
- The report was split into C01–C03; internal representations (H3 hidden state + K/V from layers 0–3, the CUT3 boundary) were saved to SSD as .pt files, each with SHA-256 checksums
- Cartridges synthesize new memories textually: C01+C02→S01, then S01+S02→H01, forming multi-generation memory hierarchies
- An 8-round closed-loop review ran automatically; a "master memory" was sealed (C11 BLIND) before the 23-page official final report was opened for comparison
- The author honestly notes later rounds converge, proving a working closed-loop mechanism rather than 8 independent reasoning gains; tensor-to-tensor fusion remains future work
