ChatGPT models romantic commitment as a nuclear 'fusion barrier' — and it kind of works

A screenshot shared by Kuprel shows a ChatGPT conversation that produced a 'fusion barrier graph for committing to the woman you love.' The model frames commitment as a system that must overcome an energy barrier before two people can reach a stable, lasting bond — just as two positively charged nuclei need enough energy, or a tunneling path, to fuse.
The analogy: love is the attraction, fear (vulnerability, uncertainty, perceived loss of freedom) is the barrier, and commitment is the transition into a more stable state — the hardest part is crossing the barrier, not a lack of love. ChatGPT also adds the caveat that real commitment shouldn't mean ignoring red flags or forcing past incompatibility.
