OpenLore gives every coding agent the same memory with one folder of Markdown

Coding agents live in silos: Claude Code reads CLAUDE.md, Codex reads AGENTS.md, Cursor has its own rules — and none remember yesterday. OpenLore (Apache 2.0, 1.5K+ GitHub stars) fixes this with one shared folder.
How it works:
- openlore ./docs serves your docs folder over MCP and SSH
- Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode all plug in; each agent only sees docs it's granted
- Agents read with familiar cat/grep/find; update a file once and every agent sees it on next read
- No vector database, no ingestion pipeline, no SDK
Safety: the shell is an in-memory Go interpreter, not a real OS shell, and access is read-only by default. Honest tradeoff: limited value for a single agent — it shines with multi-agent teams.
